A: Call up and ask about their credentials . You must feel that the inspector is qualified, experienced and attentive of your needs. Having passed the ASHI American Society of Home Inspectors 4 hour exam, or the NAHI  National Association of Home Inspectors CRI exam, or NACHI National Association of Certified Home Inspectors CRI Exam is a good start on qualifications.
